Confirmations and Cancellations
All orders must be confirmed in writing. In the event of a cancellation prior to the fabric being paid for and dispatched, no charge will be made.

Delivery
UK Mainland: The lead-time for printed fabrics is 3 weeks with the linen and wallpaper. If products are in stock, they will be sent within a week. Newton Paisley Ltd cannot be held responsible for delays caused by our manufacturers. Non-receipt of goods: Any claim for the non-receipt of goods must be made in writing within a maximum of 14 days from the date of the confirmed delivery date.

Wallpaper

Newton Paisley wallpaper is a fine non-woven uncoated gicleé printed wall- covering. It is printed in the UK on a natural cellulose-based substrate using recycled wood pulp. The production is solvent free with minimal waste and energy inputs. They use a paste-the-wall application. Full hanging instructions will be provided with the product.

Fabric Care
Dry cleaning is recommended for our fabrics unless otherwise noted. We recommend natural dry cleaners like Johnson’s Cleaners who use enfrely non-toxic chemicals and avoid percholorethylene. Please allow for 2% shrinkage or stretching when making loose covers and curtains.

Natural Fabric Irregularities
With all natural textiles there will be variations in the weave, colour and texture including occasional slubs and, as such, claims for such irregularities will not be accepted under any circumstances. Please inspect the fabric prior to cutting.

Returns

Customers should check all deliveries immediately for shortages, faults, damages or incorrect products. The buyer must inform of any such issues in writing, within 7 days of the date of delivery. No claim will be considered in any circumstances should the goods have been cut, modified or damaged by the buyer. Returns are at the discretion of Newton Paisley Ltd and will not be accepted without previous agreement. A 20% handling fee, plus any carriage costs will be deducted from credit. If ordering the fabric without having seen a sample, you do this at your own risk. We will not be held responsible for any miscalculation of fabric orders. It is the responsibility of the customer to check all fabric details including repeats and drops.

Payment
We request that pro-forma invoices be fully paid by trade customers before goods are cut and dispatched.

Deliveries to a Third Party
If fabrics are due to be delivered to a third party such as a curtain maker or upholsterer, it is up to the customer to ensure that the correct fabric has been received. We are not able to accept claims for any costs of making up in case of an error of this sort.

Colour Matching
To ensure exact colour matching, it is advised to order the full quantities required for future use at one time. While every effort is made to ensure consistency of colours, variations may occasionally occur and colours may not always be exact owing mainly to subtle variations in the base-cloth. The sample you order may come from a different batch to the material you receive.

Treatments
Newton Paisley Ltd prioritises the natural purity of its fabrics and does not treat fabrics with fire- retardants or stain repellents. Contact us if fire-retardants are required. Fabrics can be tumbled to create a softer handle if requested. Most fabrics will fade after lengthy exposure to strong sunlight, some fabric treatments, and carbon monoxide. Ultraviolet film applied to windows prevents fading if sok furnishings are to be in direct sunlight. We advise that all our fabrics be lined and interlined for curtaining windows. We do not accept liability for changes in the fabric if it is treated after purchase.

Liability
Our liability for any fault or defect in the quality of the product is limited to a sum not exceeding the purchase price or the product in question. Newton Paisley Ltd will not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss or damage.

Privacy
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any third parties.

Availability and Pricing
All products are subject to availability of base-cloth and wallcovering base and there may occasionally be delays. We will do our best to accommodate requests for any withdrawn product or to find a suitable replacement. We also reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

Intellectual Property Right and Right to Use
All copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material produced by Newton Paisley shall remain at all times vested in us. It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material, designs and content without express permission.
