I spent the inauguration mending this mat that was I spent the inauguration mending this mat that was made for me when I was born in Washington DC. It was all frayed and falling apart. I have felt pretty frayed and beat up myself these last four years and I am feeling so much better now. Amazing speeches and Amanda Gorman and the other Queens filled my heart. “My whole soul is in it” as you can see by my posting a nude to celebrate.

Last time I was about to be in a mode of celebration we had an insurrection. Praying that tomorrow goes well. It has been a long four years. Now for a new beginning...

Happy 88th birthday to my most wonderful dad, @eri Happy 88th birthday to my most wonderful dad, @ericjamespaisley. A great naturalist, artist, engineer, actor, cartoonist, lover of fish and poetry, raccoons and swimming, music and macrame. One thing he has never shown any enthusiasm for whatsoever is wallpaper. 😂 And yet! He has been extremely supportive of Newton Paisley, even sending out wallpaper samples for me inside the States where he lives. I hope he will find it funny that I have him lurking on a pink wall amidst the saguaro cacti 🌵 that he was so thrilled by when he travelled to Texas and Arizona on business and birdwatching back in the 80s.

The ocean that separates us has never felt larger nor the 14 months since we have seen each other. But we should be able to see each other again soon. We love you and miss you EP. Happy birthday.

Crazy antics in DC but celebrating nonetheless wit Crazy antics in DC but celebrating nonetheless with 🍑peachy tones for a peach of a day 🍑. We have great news on the home front as my actor husband just landed a peach of a part in a television series. 🥂 Such a bleak and discouraging time for months and months as for so many people in the arts. Many hard dark days at the moment but, still, today a chink of peachy light 😊🍑😊🍑😊...
